Ingredients
- 1 ea Wheat bread, toasted
- 1 ea Avocados from Mexico, mashed
- 8 ea Black olives, drained, quartered
- 2 ea Eggs, hard boiled, thin sliced
- 2 ea Black olives, drained, sliced
- 1 ea Red pepper, strips, roasted, drained
- 4 ea Pretzel sticks, broken
- Mashed Avocado
- 1 ea Avocados from Mexico
- 1 t. Lemon juice
- 1/8 t. Kosher salt
Instructions
Mashed Avocado
- Remove stem from avocado.
- Cut avocado in half from top to bottom.
- Twist one half of the avocado to pull two halves apart.
- Remove pit from avocado.
- Scoop out the pulp from the avocado and place into a large bowl.
- In a large bowl, gently mash the avocados with lemon juice and salt.
- Transfer to a clean serving dish.
- Serve as needed.
Frankenstein Avocado Toast
- Place wheat grain toast onto a flat surface.
- Spread mashed avocado across entire toast.
- Add black olives to the top of the toast to replicate hair.
- Place hard-boiled egg slices onto the center of the toast.
- Place sliced black olives on top of hard-boiled eggs to replicate eyeballs.
- Place roasted red pepper strips onto toast to create a mouth.
- Place broken pretzel sticks onto the upper left-hand corner of the toast to create stitches.
- Serve as needed.
