Add oil to a medium-large frying pan and heat on medium high. Add onions and cook to soften for 5-7 minutes or until translucent.
Add ground beef and spices to pan, breaking beef apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until beef is no longer pink and is fully cooked through, approximately 7-10 minutes.
Warm corn tortillas as per package instructions. Top each tortilla with a layer of lettuce. Then, evenly distribute ground beef on top of lettuce and sprinkle diced tomatoes and avocado. Evenly drizzle crema on each taco and serve.
