Ingredients
- 1 pound leg of pork
- 4 Greek pitas
- 1/2 crisp lettuce, cut into thin strips
- 3 tomatoes, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 red onion, cut into slices
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 hass avocado
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup chopped black sliced olives
- 100 grams of bacon
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- 1 tablespoon of pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 4 tablespoons of lemon
- 1/2 litre of Greek yogurt
- 1 medium cucumber, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- To marinate the pork, in a bowl add all marinade ingredients and marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
- Once ready, take pork and bake at 360 °F for 30 minutes, according to desired doneness.
- When the meat is cooked, cut it into thin slices. Separately, in a bowl with vinegar, pepper, salt and oil, onion.
- For the tzatziki sauce, in a bowl mix all the ingredients and let stand.
- Moisten slightly with water the pitas and heat them in a skillet over medium for a minute on each side.
- Hold the pita with the hand, add the slices of meat, tomato, onion, paprika, lettuce, avocado and olives, roll into a cone shape. Add a little of the sauce and cilantro.
