Pineapple Hotdog Wraps with Spicy Avocado Dip


  • 1 ea. ripe Avocado From Mexico, pitted, peeled and mashed
  • 8 ea. hot dogs
  • 1 ea. package (8 oz.) of crescent rolls
  • 1/2 c. of small diced and drained pineapple
  • 1/2-1 T. of finely chopped jalapeño
  • 1 T. lime juice
  • Salt to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  2. Make the wraps: unroll the crescent rolls, and spread 1 T. of pineapple at the larger end of each one. Place one hot dog on the same spot, then roll until the hot dog is wrapped with the entire roll. Place a sheet pan greased with oil or lined with parchment. Bake the wraps for 11-13 minutes, or until crisp and brown. Let cool for five minutes.
  3. Make the sauce: Stir the mashed avocado with the jalapeño pepper (taste pepper first before deciding how much to use, as they can vary in spiciness level), lime juice, and salt. Serve the dip on the side with the wraps and enjoy.
