Ingredients

  • 2 tomates medianos pelados
  • 1/2 cebolla amarilla
  • 2 dientes de ajo
  • 2 chile serrano desvenado y sin semillas
  • 1 chile ancho hidratado, desvenado y sin semillas
  • 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
  • 1 cucharada de cilantro picado
  • 68 oz de caldo de pollo
  • sal al gusto
  • 2 tazas de aceite vegetal
  • 12 tortillas de maíz
  • Para acompañar
  • 1/2 taza de crema mexicana o crema agria
  • 1 Aguacates de México hass
  • 1 taza de queso fresco

Instructions

  1. En una licuadora agrega los chiles, tomates, ajo y cebolla. Licua hasta que quede como puré.
  2. En una olla grande a fuego medio agrega el aceite de oliva y sofríe la mezcla por 5 minutos.
  3. Agrega el cilantro, el caldo, sal al gusto y deja cocinar por 25 minutos.
  4. Corta las tortillas en tiras delgadas.
  5. En una sartén calienta el aceite y fríe las tortillas hasta que estén crocantes. Escurre en plato con papel toalla.
  6. Para servir agrega primero un poco de tortillas luego la sopa. Acompaña con aguacate, queso, crema y más tortillas.
