Grilled Salmon Burger

Ingredients

  • Grilled Salmon Burger
  • 6 ea. Burger Buns, Toasted
  • 6 leaves Green Leaf Lettuce
  • 6 ea. Salmon Burgers (See Below)
  • 3/4 c. Avocado Mash (See Below)
  • Salmon Burgers
  • 1 1/4 lb. Salmon Fillets, Skinned, Pin Bones Removed, 1" Diced
  • 1/2 c. Green Onion, Minced
  • 1/4 c. Cilantro, Minced
  • 4 t. Dill, Minced
  • 2 T. Lime Juice, Fresh
  • 1/2 T. Kosher Salt
  • 1 t. Black pepper, Ground
  • Avocado Mash
  • 3/4 c. Avocados From Mexico, Stage 4, Mashed
  • 2 T. Lime Juice, Fresh
  • 2 t. Kosher Salt

Instructions

    Grilled Salmon Burger Directions:
  1. Build each salmon burger with avocado mash in the following order and amounts:
    • 1 Each Burger Bun Bottom, Toasted
    • 1 Leaf Green Leaf Lettuce
    • 1 Each Salmon Burger, Cooked
    • 3 Tbsp Avocado Mash
    • 1 Each Burger Bun Top, Toasted
    Salmon Burger Directions:
  1. Place diced salmon in a food processor; gently pulse 4 to 5 times until salmon is minced.
  2. In a large bowl, add salmon, green onions, cilantro, dill, lime juice, salt and pepper; mix until well combined.
  3. Form salmon mixture into six 4-oz patties.
  4. Heat grill to medium-high. Cook salmon burger 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
    Avocado Mash Directions:
  1. In a medium bowl, add all ingredients and mix until well combined. Set aside in an airtight container in the fridge until ready for use.
