Avo Burger

Ingredients

  • Avo Burger
  • 4 ea Potato bun, 4 1/2", toasted
  • 1/2 c Secret Avo Sauce, divided
  • 8 ea Green lettuce leaves
  • 1/4 c Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 ea Beefsteak tomato slices, 1/4"
  • 4 ea Beef burger patty, 80/20, 7-Ounce, seasoned, cooked in clarified butter
  • 4 ea American cheese slice
  • 16 ea Avocados From Mexico slices, 1/4"
  • 4 tsp Sesame seeds, black and white
  • Secret Avo Sauce
  • 3/4 c Avocados From Mexico, medium diced
  • 1/2 c Heavy mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Shallots, peeled, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dill pickles, minced
  • Burger Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Garlic powder, granulated
  • 1 Tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Paprika, smoked

Instructions

    For the Burger Seasoning:
  1. Fold together all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place seasoning mix into a clean container. Place lid on container. Store as needed.
  3. Use roughly ½ teaspoon seasoning per burger.
    For the Secret Avo Sauce:
  1. Place all ingredients into food processor, processing until smooth.
  2. Once processed, pour sauce into a clean container. Place plastic wrap on top of sauce and press down firmly to prevent oxidation. Place lid on top of plastic wrap to seal. Refrigerate until needed for up to 24 hours.
    For the Avo Burger:
  1. To assemble each burger, place toasted bottom bun on clean work surface. Spread 1 tablespoon Secret Avo Sauce over bun.
  2. Place 2 lettuce leaves, 1 tablespoon sliced red onion and 2 tomato slices on top of sauce. Place cooked burger patty over tomato slices, then top burger with 1 slice cheese and 4 slices fresh avocado. Garnish avocado slices with 1 teaspoon sesame seeds.
  3. Spread 1 additional tablespoon Secret Avo Sauce over top bun. Place dressed top bun on the side of the built burger and serve immediately.
