How to Sprout an Avocado Seed Without Toothpicks
If the toothpick method of planting an avocado tree isn’t working for you, submerge an avocado pit in water overnight. The next day, peel the seed and return it to the water. Once there’s a 1-centimeter crack around the seed, plant the seed in a pot of rich humus soil.
