Released in October of 2016, the Foodservice Patron Study uncovered some thought-provoking results. It found that offering an add-on of avocado improved customers’ opinion of the quality of the menu items across all restaurant segments. It also showed that guests are not only willing to pay more for fresh avocados on their dishes (an average of $1.81 more), a majority also said they would visit their favorite restaurant less if they learned that processed avocados were being used.
Among the many findings of a recent AFM Sandwich Study were 3 key pieces of learning. First, 65% of consumers are interested in LTO’s. Next, 64% of consumers are willing to pay more for sandwiches with high-quality ingredients. And most importantly, 54% want more avocado on their sandwiches.
